Texas Instruments TPS65735 Power Management Unit for Active Shutter 3D Glasses
Texas Instruments TPS65735 Power Management Unit (PMU) for Active Shutter 3D Glasses features an integrated power path, linear charger, LDO, boost converter, and full H-bridge analog switches for left and right shutter operation in a pair of active shutter 3D glasses. The linear charger integrated into the TI TPS65735 PMU features an externally set charger current that supports up to 100mA. The LDO provides continuous output current ip to 30mA. The boost converter offers adjustable output voltage of 8V to 16V. The boost output is internally connected to H-bridge analog switches. The TI TPS65735 PMU also includes an output pin for divided down battery voltage. The output pin is useful for analog to digital converter or comparator input of a microcontroller.
Texas Instruments BQ500110 / BQ500210 Qi Wireless Power Transmitter Manager
Texas Instruments bq500110 and bq500210 are Qi compliant wireless power dedicated digital controllers that integrate the logic functions required to control wireless power transfer in a single channel WPC compliant contactless charging base station. The TI bq500110 Gen 1 and bq500210 Gen 2 Wireless Power Transmitter Managers are intelligent devices that periodically ping the surrounding environment for available devices to be powered, monitor all communication from the device being wirelessly powered, and and adjusts power applied to the transmitter coil per feedback received from the powered device. The TI bq500110 and bq500210 also manage the fault conditions associated with the power transfer and controls the operating modes status indicator. These Qi compliant Wireless Power Transmitter Managers also support Parasitic Metal Object Detection that allows the controllers to protect themselves and the power receiver from excessive power loss and heat associated with parasitic metal objects placed in the power transfer path.
Texas Instruments TMP006 Infrared Thermopile Sensor in Chip-Scale Package
The Texas Instruments TMP006 is the industry's first single-chip digital infrared (IR) MEMS temperature sensors. TI TMP006 Thermopile Sensors in a chip-scale package have 90% lower power consumption and are more than 95% smaller than existing solutions, allowing contactless temperature measurement. TI TMP006 temperature sensors use a thermopile to absorb the infrared energy emitted from the object being measured and use the corresponding change in thermopile voltage to determine the object temperature. The IR sensor voltage range is specified from -40ºC to +125ºC to enable use in a wide range of applications, including notebook case temperature, comfort index measurement, motor case temperature, and server farm power management.
