NXP LM75B
The NXP Semiconductors LM75B
is a temperature-to-digital converter using an on-chip band gap
temperature sensor
and
Sigma-Delta
A-to-D
conversion technique with an overtemperature detection output. The
NXP LM75B
contains a number of data registers: Configuration register (Conf) to store the device settings such as device operation mode, OS operation mode; temperature register (Temp) to store the digital temp reading, and set-point registers (Tos and Thyst) to store programmable overtemperature shutdown and hysteresis limits, that can be communicated by a controller via the 2-wire serial
I
2
C-bus interface
. The device also includes an open-drain output (OS) which becomes active when the temperature exceeds the programmed limits. There are three selectable logic address pins so that eight devices can be connected on the same bus without address conflict.

NXP PCA9555
The NXP Semiconductors PCA9555
is a 24-pin
CMOS
device that provides 16 bits of
General Purpose parallel Input/Output
(
GPIO
) expansion for
I
2
C-bus
/
SMBus
applications and was developed to enhance the
NXP Semiconductors
family of
I
2
C-bus
I/O
expanders
. The improvements include higher drive capability, 5 V
I/O
tolerance, lower supply current, individual
I/O
configuration, and smaller packaging.
I/O
expanders
provide a simple solution when additional
I/O
is needed for
ACPI
power switches,
sensors
, push buttons,
LEDs
,
fans
, etc.

NXP P82B96
TheNXP Semiconductors P82B96
is a bipolar
IC
that creates a non-latching, bidirectional,
logic interface
between the normal
I
2
C-bus
and a range of other
bus
configurations
. It can
interface
I
2
C-bus logic
signals to similar buses having different voltage and current levels.
For example, it can interface to the 350 uA
SMBus
, to 3.3 V
logic devices
, and to 15 V levels and/or low-impedance lines to improve noise immunity on longer
bus
lengths.
It achieves this interface without any restrictions on the normal
I
2
C-bus
protocols or clock speed. The
IC
adds minimal loading to the
I
2
C-bus
node, and loadings of the new
bus
or remote
I
2
C-bus
nodes are not transmitted or transformed to the local node. Restrictions on the number of
I
2
C-bus
devices in a system, or the physical separation between them, are virtually eliminated.

NXP PCF8576
The NXP Semiconductors PCF8576
is a peripheral device which interfaces to almost any
Liquid Crystal Display
(
LCD
) with low multiplex rates. It generates the drive signals for any
static
or
multiplexed
LCD
containing up to four backplanes and up to 40 segments and can easily be cascaded for larger
LCD
applications. The
NXP PCF8576
is compatible with most
microprocessors
/
microcontrollers
and communicates via a two-line bidirectional
I²C-bus
. Communication overheads are minimized by a display
RAM
with auto-incremented addressing, by hardware subaddressing and by display memory switching (
static
and
duplex
drive modes).

NXP PCF8563
The NXP Semiconductors PCF8563 is a CMOS real-time clock/calendar optimized for low power consumption. A programmable clock output, interrupt output and voltage-low detector are also provided. All addresses and data are transferred serially via a two-line bidirectional I2C-bus. Maximum bus speed is 400 kbit/s. The built-in word address register is incremented automatically after each written or read data byte.

NXP PCF8574
The NXP Semiconductors PCF8574 is a silicon CMOS circuit. It provides general purpose remote I/O expansion for most microcontroller families via the two-line bidirectional bus (I2C-bus).
The device consists of an 8-bit quasi-bidirectional port and an I2C-bus interface. The PCF8574 has a low current consumption and includes latched outputs with high current drive capability for directly driving LEDs. It also possesses an interrupt line (INT) which can be connected to the interrupt logic of the microcontroller. By sending an interrupt signal on this line, the remote I/O can inform the microcontroller if there is incoming data on its ports without having to communicate via the I2C-bus. This means that the PCF8574 can remain a simple slave device.

NXP SC28L92
The NXP Semiconductors SC28L92 Dual Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (DUART) is a single-chip CMOS-LSI communications device that provides two full-duplex asynchronous receiver/transmitter channels in a single package. It interfaces directly with microprocessors and may be used in a polled or interrupt driven system with modem and DMA interface.
The SC28L92 is a pin and function replacement for the SCC2692 and SC26C92
operating at 3.3 V or 5 V supply with added features and deeper FIFOs. Its
configuration on power-up is that of the SC26C92.
