Microchip Technology MRF24J40MB 2.4 GHz RF Transceiver Module
The Microchip Technology MRF24J40MB 2.4 GHz radio frequency (RF) transceiver module adds +20 dBm of transmit power via an integrated power amplifier (PA) and -102 dBm of receive sensitivity via the integrated low noise amplifier (LNA) to the proven IEEE 802.15.4 compliant transceiver, PCB antenna, and discrete matching circuitry. This surface mount Microchip Technology RF transceiver module gives designers the added transmit power to expand the range of their IEEE 802.15.4-based ZigBee or proprietary-protocol wireless networks. The integrated module design of the MRF24J40MB frees designers from extensive RF and antenna design and regulatory compliance testing, allowing quicker time to market. The Microchip Technology MRF24J40MB transceiver module connects to hundreds of Microchip PIC® MCUs via a 4-wire SPI interface and is an ideal solution for AMR/AMI metering, wireless sensor networks, home automation, building automation, and consumer applications.
