Exar XRP7657 Non-Synchronous Step Down Converter
The Exar XRP7657 non-synchronous voltage mode PWM step down (buck) converter can provide a constant output current up to 2A and offers a wide 4.75V to 25V input voltage range that allows for single supply operations from industry standard 5V, 12V, and 24V power rails. The XRP7657 step down converter reduces overall component count and solution footprint with a 420 kHz constant operating frequency and integrated high side switch. This Exar device features 2% output setpoint accuracy, high efficiency, low ripple, and excellent line and load regulation. The enable function and soft start feature of the XRP7657 allow for controlled power up sequencing implementation. This Exar step down converter is ideal for use in distributed power architectures, point of load converters, and audio-video and medical equipment.
Exar XRP6657 PWM Synchronous Step Down Converter
The Exar XRP6657 high efficiency PWM synchronous step down DC to DC converter delivers a guaranteed 1.5A output current and is optimized for portable battery-powered applications. The Exar XRP6657 uses a constant 1.3 MHz frequency PWM scheme that allows for compact external components, low output voltage ripple, and fixed frequency noise. This Exar step down converter provides up to 95% efficiency, and an input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V. The XRP6657 also has a Pulse Skip Mode (PSM) that is used to improve light load efficiency and a low dropout mode that provides 100% duty cycle operation.

features an Adaptive Receive Equalizer for up to 36dB cable

for transmit output pulse shaping available for both T1 and E1 modes.
