Entry Level Programmer Analyst

We have an excellent opportunity for an energetic, company-minded, results oriented individual to join our Information Services Team in the position of an entry-level Programmer.  This position requires a self-starting programmer with a positive team oriented attitude. Daily tasks include requirements gathering, analyzing new requirements, maintaining existing code, responding to trouble reports and documenting code.  The successful candidate must be comfortable working on a variety of projects with various levels of management involvement.

The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of a 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management or related field
• 0-2 years of programming experience
• Knowledge of at least two programming languages
• Good understanding of at least one database management system
• Demonstrated ability to read business specifications and develop programs that meet those requirements
• Demonstrated ability to perform unit testing and fixing defects
• Good analysis skills
• Must possess good communications skills
• Must be a quick learner

Knowledge and/or experience with one or more SDLC is a plus.

Working knowledge of UNIX or Linux is a plus.

Technical Support Rep

Technical Support Representatives are responsible for providing service to customers through direct contact with sales, customers, suppliers, and other departments within Mouser to assist in the decision of buying, selling, and provide quality technical assistance to ensure effective customer service.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The ideal person will exhibit potential for advancement to a Technical Support Specialist position. Qualified candidates will have knowledge of electronic components and be able and willing to assist our customers via phone or online. Proficiency with a PC, Microsoft products, and the internet is essential. This job requires someone to utilize strong multi-tasking skills and excellent interpersonal skills to provide a high level of customer service. Overtime and weekend work is rare but may be required.

Data Entry Clerk - Sales

The Data Entry Clerk performs data entry of information through custom or other software. Responsible for accuracy, efficiency and retrieval of processed data. Proofs material entered as required and generates data reports as required.

Accountabilities
Performs data entry using various computer programs, word processing, spreadsheet or database commands and formats material as required. Reviews discrepancies in data received, requests clarification or advises supervisor of issues related to data, and performs data verification routines in accordance with company procedures. May interact with departmental and/or other staff on matters affecting data and makes recommendations for improvement or enhancement to job processes to ensure standards in data entry, collection and retrieval. Files, keeps records, and prepares/transmits/sorts/distributes facsimiles, mail, e-mail, and reports as needed. Perform quality work within deadlines. Interact professionally with other employees. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations. Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Able to type data for long periods of time. Detailed and thorough in work habits. PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet, e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other software. Able to read and understand a terminal screen and printed reports. Neat and legible handwriting. Available for overtime and weekends.

Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to assist in the processing of our financial activities. This person will support the Accounting Manager by assisting with corporate financial activities and projects such as reconciling and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; preparing monthly general ledger and bank reconciliations; reviewing invoices for proper coding and approvals; completing various tax forms; and processing bi-weekly payroll for 600+ employees through our computerized system.

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance with a minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience is required.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point and have the ability to set and track goals. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and non-verbally, are essential, and the chosen candidate will be able to read, analyze, and interpret government rules and regulations, technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

Stock Control Clerk - APPLY IN PERSON

The Stock Control Clerk is responsible for pulling, preparing, and packaging product for shipment by using desktop or handheld computer terminals.

Accountabilities
Pulling, preparing and packaging product for shipment. Reading and marking documents. Counting for physical inventory. Moving very small to bulky product. Loading and unloading trucks. Invoicing and/or receiving product using a PC. Using desktop or handheld (RDT) computer terminals. Supports and participates in the company's total quality process.
