AdaptivEnergy Joule-Thief™ Module

The AdaptivEnergy Joule-Thief™ miniature vibratory energy harvesting module is ideal for battery extension or replacement in wireless machinery conditioning monitoring, sensing, and other low power applications. The AdaptivEnergy Joule-Thief piezoelectric-based module is powered by RLP® Technology coupled with Energy Key™ circuitry. The Joule-Thief produces more power output through its stress-engineered 50 Hz to 120 Hz RLP Smart Energy Beam™ than any other energy harvesting technology available. This compact energy harvester from AdaptivEnergy contains highly efficient proprietary circuitry, energy collection and storage electronics, and a 2-wire interface all within in a 2.22" (56.5mm) x 1.38" (35.0mm) x 0.65" (16.5mm) package.

AdaptivEnergy Random Vibration Joule-Thief™ Module

The AdaptivEnergy Random Vibration Joule-Thiefmodule converts ambient mechanical energy, such as vibration and impact events, into a standard DC voltage output. The AdaptivEnergy JTRA-e5mini Random Vibration Joule-Thief is an ideal solution for self-sustaining low power microelectronics, such as wireless sensing and active RFID. The Random Vibration JTRA-e5mini Joule-Thief module integrates highly efficient Energy Key™ electronics, providing designers with a very compact energy harvester with 2-wire interface. This AdaptivEnergy device includes RLP® Smart Energy Beam™ configured for energy collection from low amplitude random vibration environments and also features onboard 66µF capacitive storage. The Joule-Thief Random Vibration Demonstration Kit evaluates the module's capabilities within a random vibration environment.
